Q: Is this a paid zine?
A: Nope! This zine is free and digital!Q: Who can participate?
A: Those that are 18+ are welcome to apply.Q: Will moderators be announced?
A: Moderators will be announced before contributor apps close.Q: Are applications scored?
A: Yes– we will be scoring apps on a scale, where participants that score at the higher end of the scale will be contacted to be contributors for the zine.Q: What are the scoring criteria for apps?
A: Pitch(es), past experience (though none is required), and the the frequency in the creation of or publication of works– this serves as a proxy for how much time you may be able to put into your contribution to the zine. Though pitches are subjective, we are hoping to create a zine with a variety of fairy tales and mythos; therefore we're looking for people who are willing/able to think outside the box.Q: What if I score on the lower end of the scale?
A: You will most likely not be included in the zine.Q: Will there be collaborations?
A: This will be decided during the official 'Pitch' period, but we are open to collabs for this project.Q: What are the minimum requirements for writers and artists?
A: The minimum word count for writers is 3,000 words. The minimum for artists is one completed illustration or one completed comic strip (3-5 panels).Q: What are the maximum requirements for writers and artists?
A: The maximum word count for writers is 10K (10,000) words.
